"Last Wednesday night I couldn't sleep well because my mind was so alive replaying the visuals in my head from the workshop day. In my dreams, I could hear voiceovers and see captions from the many stories I dreamed up from the photoshoot. The past week, I've been revamping my website and jotting down ideas in my field notebook about stories I feel a calling to tell. I feel really exhilarated by our workshop day. From the energizing breathing exercises, the beautiful art we created and even down to the difficult self-digging you helped me do. I would 100% recommend others utilize your workshop if they are struggling with business or art. I also appreciate your honesty and vulnerability in sharing your personal thoughts and experiences with me. I definitely felt like no question was off limits which helps with feeling comfortable in sharing my own experiences and weaknesses.”

“It was with her work that my mind was opened to the idea that photography could be more than just photos; they could be art. So when Karrah opened up spots to stay in her home for a week for a creative retreat, I absolutely had to jump at the chance. Not only was Karrah a kind & inviting host, but she was exactly as she presented herself online; whimsical, wise, & intentional in every aspect. It was like meeting a good friend I hadn’t seen in years & she gave me a tour of her city & showed me the most beautiful spots. We walked along rivers & waterfalls as she told me the stories of her career & the wonderful people she’d gotten to meet along the way. Some of which I was able to meet, as Karrah hosted a dinner party exclusively for me as the guest of honor. It was so lovely to meet her friends, and feel involved in a community of like-minded artists. During the day we would pack our bags with outfits & our cameras, and explore picturesque places with her friends to model for us. She spoke her mind, explained her creative processes & we created art. In the evenings, we would go through & edit what was captured, as well as go through some of my favorite images she had ever taken. I was so curious to how her mind works & she happily answered any question I could come up with. I left the week with so much more knowledge than I could have asked for & filled a notebook with ideas & notes that I could never let myself forget. Karrah is a magical being, and anyone would be lucky to experience the world through her eyes.”

“I felt very very grateful that I was able to have this conversation with you. I felt like our conversation had a very good structure, with space for me to ask questions and expand. I really appreciated how you took the time with the intake quetionnaire and summarized points that would be helpful for us to hit on. I felt very guided (just as my clients should feel and I m hoping to up level my client experience so they feel the same). I often struggle to come up with questions off the bat (even though there are a lot in my head) so knowing that we already had points to hit on coming into the conversation helped a lot. “It feels great to be a part of something. I’ve struggled finding a community, especially of creatives, and you have invited me in. Gave me some amazing resources and tools during our mentorship and have chatted with me along the way making me feel absolutely fricken normal and making me feel like I belong to something bigger than myself. The creative world was something I always thought I would have to venture out on my own with no “friends” or people to partner with but you are changing my mind on what this could look like and it has me very excited for the future. I look through the notes on our mentorship often. It’s been a huge building block for me to move forward. So I’m sure you’ll see more of your wisdom trickling in through my posts.”
